Developer class and Non-Production clusters were updated as scheduled in the past week with no issues identified. Next week 24th Feb, we start on the production Cassandra and Kafka clusters unless otherwise requested by customers.

Instaclustr will be undertaking routine OS upgrades across our managed fleet. Individual instances (nodes) will be rebooted in a rolling fashion. No overall impact on service availability is expected for all Kafka clusters and Cassandra clusters with RF3 (or higher) configured on keyspaces.
For all clusters running Spark in PRODUCTION, you will receive a further notification prior to patching to confirm a specific maintenance window.
The schedule for this routine maintenance will be undertaken from midnight UTC as follows unless advised separately:
All Developer class clusters (eg. t2 size): February 10, 2020 - February 12, 2020 UTC All remaining NON_PRODUCTION clusters: February 12, 2020 - February 14, 2020 UTC All PRODUCTION Cassandra and Kafka clusters: February 24, 2020 - February 28, 2020 UTC All PRODUCTION Spark clusters: March 2, 2020 - March 6, 2020, 2019 UTC
