We've successfully upgraded >99% of the fleet as scheduled and expect to complete maintenance on the several outstanding clusters by the end of next week (September 19).

Rollout has commenced on PRODUCTION Kafka and Cassandra clusters as scheduled and will continue over the next 2 weeks. All customers running PRODUCTION Spark clusters have been notified of upcoming scheduled maintenance windows to begin from September 9, 2019.

The scheduling of the patch rollout to the remaining PRODUCTION clusters is proceeding. All customers running PRODUCTION Cassandra and Kafka clusters have been notified of upcoming scheduled maintenance windows to begin from August 26, 2019.

Scheduled
Instaclustr will be undertaking routine OS upgrades across our managed fleet. Individual instances (nodes) will be rebooted in a rolling fashion. No overall impact on service availability is expected for clusters with RF3 (or higher) configured on keyspaces.
Customers with running Spark clusters and Production clusters will be individually notified of scheduled restart times.
The schedule for this routine maintenance will be undertaken from midnight UTC as follows:
All Developer class clusters (eg. t2 size): August 5, 2019 - August 7, 2019 UTC All remaining NON_PRODUCTION clusters: August 7, 2019 - August 9, 2019 UTC All PRODUCTION clusters: As per agreed maintenance window. All Spark clusters: As per agreed maintenance window.
